Notarial and documentary services guide for Georgia

Documents, certificates, letters and notes available at the British Consulate in Georgia

Overview

The consular section can provide a range of notarial and documentary services for British nationals in Tbilisi.

Where local notaries can provide services, the British embassy will not provide them. In many cases local notaries or lawyers can provide services more cheaply, quickly and conveniently.

You must make an appointment for each service that requires your personal attendance.

Before booking, make sure that the document will be accepted by the relevant authority. This could be the local Justice House/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Ministry of Internal Affairs/Revenue Service or another authority either in Tbilisi, the UK or a third country. Only they can confirm which service you will require. This information cannot be verified by the consular section of the British Embassy Tbilisi.

If you cannot find what you are looking for in the list below please see “Our services” section at the British Embassy Tbilisi or see the list of services provided elsewhere See our information on marriages, registrations of birth and death.
