The variations effective from 00:01 hours, Saturday 1 September 2018 are as follows:

2. Under 10 Metre Quota Decrease

2.1 Affecting licences Cat A (91/99) and Cat A Monitored (45/99)

  • Sole in sea area VIIa from 0.2t to 0.1t

3. Under 10 Metre Quota Increases

3.1 Affecting licences Cat A (91/99) and Cat A Monitored (45/99)

  • Skates and Rays in sea area IIa (EC Zone), IV (EC Zone) from 1.2t to 1.4t
  • Skates and Rays in sea area VIId from 0.5t to 0.6t
  • Sole in sea area IIa (EC Zone), IV (EC Zone) from 4t to 4.5t
  • Sole in sea area VIId from 3t to 3.5t

4. Over 10 Metre Non-Sector Quota Decreases

4.1 Affecting licence Cat A (11/99) and Cat A Island (12/99)

  • Haddock in sea area VIIB-K, VIII, IX, X and CECAF 34.1. ( EC Zone) from 1.1t to 0.7t
  • Sole in sea area VIIa from 0.05t to 0.02t

5. Over 10 Metre Non-Sector Quota Increases

5.1 Affecting licence Cat A (11/99)

  • Skates and Rays in sea area IIa (EC Zone), IV (EC Zone) from 0.9t to 1t
  • Skates and Rays in sea area VIId from 0.5t to 0.6t
  • Sole in sea area IIa (EC Zone), IV (EC Zone) from 2t to 3t

6. Over 10 Metre Non-Sector Quota Increases

6.1 Affecting licence Cat A Island (12/99)

  • Skates and Rays in sea area VIId from 0.5t to 0.6t

7. Over 10 Metre Non-Sector Quota Increases

7.1 Affecting licence Cat B (31/99) and Cat C (41/99)

  • Skates and Rays in sea area IIa (EC Zone), IV (EC Zone) from 0.9t to 1t
  • Skates and Rays in sea area VIId from 0.5t to 0.6t

8. To amend paragraph 6.5 of U10m licence schedule

8.1 Affecting shedules Cat A (91/99), Cat A Monitored (45/99), Cat A Capped (94/99) and Cat A PO (91)

  • A bycatch allowance of 50kg per vessel per month for undulate ray in VIId.
  • the bycatch allowance in VIIe will be increased from 80kg to 100kg per fishing trip,

9. To amend paragraph 9.6 of O10m licence schedule

9.1 Affecting shedules 11,12,31 and 41

  • A bycatch allowance of 50kg per vessel per month for undulate ray in VIId.
  • The bycatch allowance in VIIe will be increased from 80kg to 100kg per fishing trip.

10. To amend paragraph 9.5 of O10m licence schedule

10.1 Affecting schedule 17

  • A bycatch allowance of 50kg per vessel per month for undulate ray in VIId.
  • The bycatch allowance in VIIe will be increased from 80kg to 100kg per fishing trip.
