The variation effective from 00:01hrs Sunday 01 October 2023 is as follows:  

1. Scallop Effort Days for Q4

  • Affecting licence Schedules for Category A (11), Category A Islands (12), Category A Pelagic (17), Category B (31) and Category C (41)

Western Water scallop effort days set to 75 days for Q4 (00:01 hrs 01 October 2023 – 23:59 31st December 2023)

2. Over 10m & 10m and Under Sector & Non-Sector Decrease

  • In the Over 10m Sector affecting all Cat A, Cat A (Pelagic), Cat B, and Cat C licence categories.
  • In the Over 10m Non-Sector affecting all Cat A, Cat A (Islands), Cat B, and Cat C licence categories.
  • In the 10m and Under Sector affecting all licence categories (1, 3, 5, 14, 18, 29).
  • In the 10m and Under Non-Sector affecting Cat A (9199) and Cat A (Limited ) (9499).
