The variations effective from 00:01 hours, Saturday 20 March 2021 are as follows:

2. Removal of Licence Condition. Fishing Gear Restrictions- Square Mesh Panel

  • Removal of Licence Condition relating to square mesh panel construction and placement.

Affecting Over 10m Licence Conditions whereby Condition 7.2 has been removed from Cat A (11), Cat A Island (12), Cat A Pelagic (17), Cat B (31) and Cat C (41).

Affecting 10m and Under Licence Conditions whereby Condition 14.1 and 14.2 have been removed from Cat A Uncapped (91) and Cat A Capped (94) and Condition 11.1 and 11.2 have been removed from Cat A Sector (91).

3. Amendment to 10m and Under Catch Recording Licence Condition

  • Amendment made to section relating to fishing activity which requires the completion of an electronic catch record

Affecting 10m and Under Licence Conditions whereby the word “accurate” has been added to Condition 13.1 and 13.3 for Cat A Uncapped (91) and Cat A Capped (94)

4. Under 10m Non-Sector Quota increase

  • Sole in sea area VIIe from 1.3 to 1.5 tonnes
  • Skates and Rays in sea area IIa and IV from 2 to 2.5 tonnes
  • Skates and Rays in sea area VIId from 1.1 to 1.3 tonne
