1. The variation effective from 00:01hrs Thursday 01 February 2024 is as follows:
1.1 Herring and Plaice 10m and Under Non-Sector Quota Increase
- Affecting 10m and Under non-sector licence category A (91/99)

1.2 Clarification of monthly catch limits within 350kg total for Cat A Limited (94/99) licence holders
In Cat A (Limited) (94/99) Annexe: An overall quota limitation of 350kg in a calendar year will apply, either singly or collectively, to all quota stocks (excluding bass) as set out in the table below.
Where a monthly catch limit is also in place for a quota stock, licence holders must ensure they do not exceed that catch limit for that species whilst remaining within their overall catch limit of 350kg for all quota stocks.
Where this is a current catch limit for species these are laid out in table below.
It is your responsibility to check variations before going to sea as they can be changed at any time.
