1. Check your licence
It is your responsibility to check your licence documents before going to sea as licences can be changed at any time. The most up to date licences can be accessed on the understand your fishing vessel licence page.
The variations effective from 00:01 hours Sunday 12th July 2020 are as follows:
1.1 Over 10m Quota Increase
Affecting licence Cat A (11), Cat A Islands (12), Cat B (31) and Cat C (41):
- Skates and rays in ICES sea area VIId from 1.3t to 1.8t
1.2 Amendment to O10m Licence Conditions
Affecting licence Cat A (11), Cat A Islands (12), Cat B (31) and Cat C (41):
- Amendment to paragraph 25: Dogger Bank scallop fishery closure. During the period 00:00 12th July 2020 to 23:59 8th August 2020 the vessel may not be present in ICES rectangles 39F1, 39F2, 39F3, 38F1, 38F2, 38F3, 37F1 and 37F2 whilst carrying dredges on board other than when transiting at a speed of more than six knots (except in the case of force majeure or adverse conditions).
Affecting licence Cat A Pelagic (17):
- Amendment to paragraph 32: Dogger Bank scallop fishery closure. During the period 00:00 12th July 2020 to 23:59 8th August 2020 the vessel may not be present in ICES rectangles 39F1, 39F2, 39F3, 38F1, 38F2, 38F3, 37F1 and 37F2 whilst carrying dredges on board other than when transiting at a speed of more than six knots (except in the case of force majeure or adverse conditions).
1.3 Amendment to U10m Licence Conditions
Affecting licence Cat A (91) and Cat A Limited (94):
- Amendment to paragraph 16: Dogger Bank scallop fishery closure. During the period 00:00 12th July 2020 to 23:59 8th August 2020 the vessel may not be present in ICES rectangles 39F1, 39F2, 39F3, 38F1, 38F2, 38F3, 37F1 and 37F2 whilst carrying dredges on board other than when transiting at a speed of more than six knots (except in the case of force majeure or adverse conditions).
Affecting licence Cat A Producer Organisations (91PO):
- Amendment to paragraph 13: Dogger Bank scallop fishery closure. During the period 00:00 12th July 2020 to 23:59 8th August 2020 the vessel may not be present in ICES rectangles 39F1, 39F2, 39F3, 38F1, 38F2, 38F3, 37F1 and 37F2 whilst carrying dredges on board other than when transiting at a speed of more than six knots (except in the case of force majeure or adverse conditions).
