Notarial and documentary services for Moldova
Documents and certificates available at the British embassy in Moldova.
The British Embassy Chisinau provides a range of notarial services for British nationals in Moldova. An appointment must be made for each service.
If there is no specific formal requirement for a notarial service or certificate to be provided by the British consulate, local notaries or lawyers can sometimes provide these services more conveniently, quickly and cheaply.
It is essential to check with the relevant authority (eg town hall/registry office/tax authorities/foreigners office, etc) either in the UK, Moldova or a third country, that our consular certificate or services will be accepted. Only the relevant authority can confirm which service you will require. This information cannot be verified by the British consulate.
Fees for consular certificates and documents are paid at the consulate on the day of the appointment and can be paid only in cash. Refunds will not be given for certificates or notarial services that are not accepted by the requesting authority.

The British consulate does not draft any notarial documents.
This service applies only to individuals (not companies) who need to take an oath or statutory declaration in English in respect of the contents of a document they have already prepared. We accept no responsibility for the contents of oaths or declarations. A clear link to the UK has to be demonstrated. This service is not provided for commercial cases.
Please note that the document should be written or printed on both sides of the paper and with no blank sheets and contents are to be divided into numbered paragraphs. We can only deal with documents in English. The document should be signed in front of a consular officer. If the document consists of several pages there will be a further fee for uniting. We must see the document to check whether we can offer this service. Please e-mail your draft declaration to firstname.lastname@example.org
