1. Check your licence
It is your responsibility to check your licence documents before going to sea as licences can be changed at any time. The most up to date licences can be accessed on the understand your fishing vessel licence page.
The variations effective from 00:00 hours, Sunday 25th October 2020 are as follows:
1.1 Under 10m Non-Sector Quota increase
Affecting licence Cat A (91/99):
- Sole in ICES sea area VIIe from 1.5t to 2t
1.2 Amendment to Schedule
Affecting licences Cat A (11), Cat A Islands (12), Cat A Pelagic (17), Cat B (31) and Cat C (41):
- The limit on the number of effort days fishing for Edible Crab (Cancer pagurus) and Spider Crabs (Maja squinado) in ICES sea area VII has been increased from 200 days to 240 days during 2020.
