Claim for wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

Claim for some of your employee’s wages if you have put them on furlough or flexible furlough because of coronavirus.

Check if your employer can use the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

Find out if you’re eligible, and how much your employer can claim if they put you on temporary leave (‘furlough’) due to coronavirus.

Claim a grant through the coronavirus Self-employment Income Support Scheme

Use this scheme if you’re self-employed or a member of a partnership in the UK and have lost income due to coronavirus.

All businesses and self-employed people in financial distress, and with outstanding tax liabilities, may be eligible to receive support with their tax affairs through HMRC’s Time To Pay service.

This allows businesses and individuals to pay off their debt by instalments over a period of time.

These arrangements are agreed on a case-by-case basis and are tailored to individual circumstances and liabilities.

You are eligible if your business:

  • pays tax or duties to the UK government
  • has outstanding tax liabilities

Advisers can only talk to you about problems paying your taxes due to coronavirus (COVID-19). This could be:

  • Self Assessment
  • VAT
  • employers’ PAYE
  • Corporation Tax

They will not be able to transfer you to another webchat team. Speak to an adviser.

Due to measures put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) we have fewer advisers available to answer your calls.
