Low risk waste position: storage

The Environment Agency provided these low risk waste positions (LRWPs) for waste operations it considered may be suitable for an exemption.

Details

If the Environment Agency provides a LRWP for an activity, you can carry it out without an environmental permit for a waste operation provided that you meet all the conditions.

LRWPs for storage that have been withdrawn

Storing waste sheep dip before collection for treatment or disposal: RPS 341’ replaced ‘Storing waste sheep dip before it’s collected for treatment or disposal: LRWP 68’.

‘Storing furnace bottom ash (FBA) at a dockside before export or after import: LWRP 27’ has been withdrawn as it is no longer needed.
