  2. Section 'When you must check back': The Environment Agency intends to withdraw this RPS on 31 December 2025.

  3. We have extended the review date to 1 January 2024.

  5. We have added text which requires you to tell us if you use this RPS and have extended the expiry date to the 1 January 2022.

Details

This regulatory position statement (RPS) does not change your legal requirement to have an environmental permit where one is required.

However, the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with this legal requirement if you meet the requirements in this RPS.

This regulatory position does not apply to any other legal requirements.
