Amended text in '8. How the NHS bowel cancer screening programme works'. Initially appeared as 'If we do not think you are fit enough for the examination, we may offer you a colonoscopy under general anaesthetic. Needs to be relaced with the below.' This was replaced with the following: 'You are usually awake during a colonoscopy. You can choose to have: - painkillers - gas and air - sedation – medicine given through a small tube (cannula) in your arm. Occasionally a general anaesthetic may be considered in specific situations. Some hospitals may not offer all these options.' Uploaded new PDF with above change plus updated colour scheme, final page, etc.
