Apply for Business e-services

Business customers can apply to use the portal and Business Gateway.

Available services

Business e-services are divided into groups, governed by agreements. You must apply to get access to each group:

  • use our information services to search for title numbers, request official copies, make day list enquiries, lodge protecting searches, search for bankruptcy information or search the Land Charge index.

  • use our electronic Document Registration Service (e-DRS) to submit postal applications electronically, eg to register new leases or transfers of part

  • use our network services to lodge applications to change the register, eg to change proprietors’ names due to marriage or to remove the name of a deceased joint proprietor from the register

  • use our lender services to discharge mortgages

How to apply

Set up a direct debit

Access to the portal and Business Gateway is free, but you need at least one Variable Direct Debit (VDD) account to pay fees for services. If you don’t already have a VDD account with us, or you want to add extra accounts, please complete our VDD application form and mandate.

Complete an application form

A single application made using form AFS1 form covers an entire legal entity, including all departments, branches and sub offices. If you know which services you want to use and have the authority to apply on behalf of your organisation, complete form AFS1 and send it with the required documents.

Access additional services

If your organisation already has portal access and you want to apply for additional services, complete form AFS2 and send it with the required documents.

Your existing VDD accounts will be available for use with any additional services. To add another VDD account, please complete a Variable Direct Debit application form and mandate.

Apply for additional administrators

Administrators create and manage user accounts. You can apply for up to 2 administrators on form AFS1. To apply for more, use the ASF4 additional administrators form and the AFS4a continuation sheet (there’s no limit to the number of administrators an organisation can have).

Appoint a deputy responsible person

A responsible person (or deputy responsible person) supervises administrators’ activities and has access to VDD account reports. Use form AFS5a to nominate one or more deputy responsible persons.

Use form AFS6 to change the responsible person of a business unit.

Amend your bank account details

To amend the bank account details of your variable direct debit, please complete a new mandate for each direct debit account.
