Our mission

This Embassy works to promote British interests and support British nationals in Yemen. It works to support Yemen's political transition and its fight against terrorism and provides assistance to reduce Yemen's humanitarian and economic crises.

The FCO, DfID and MOD teams work in the areas of conflict prevention, reform of the military and security sectors, capacity building and empowerment of disadvantaged and marginalised sectors of society. They do this through participating directly in working groups, bilateral programmes, and contributing to and supporting international agencies.
