Details

This multilateral agreement (MA), signed by the UK, gives a temporary exception to certain parts of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).

This exemption relates to the transportation of different class 2 gases in US Department of Transportation pressure receptacles.

It came into effect on 5 May 2011 and was replaced by MA M299 on 24 May 2016.

Anyone carrying dangerous goods in line with an MA must have a copy of it on their vehicle.
