This exception notice extends the amount of time between regular inspections of steel cylinders to 15 years if certain conditions are met.
It came into effect on 20 October 2005 and is valid until revoked.
The Department for Transport can issue exception notices to the dangerous goods regulations, which include the recognition of certain standards.
