Details

The British Embassy in Baghdad is pleased to announce a call for project bids to implement the project of Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence in Iraq as part of Prevention of Sexual Violence Initiative PSVI - Tackling Stigma workshops. These workshops will aim to; raise awareness of the UK’s focus on stigma; develop understanding of the key issues related to the subject; identify specific actions that need to happen to develop an action plan to end stigma.

Findings from the workshops will be used as part of a media campaign and to inform how we can support NGOs and the Government address issues of sexual violence and to tackle stigma.

HOW TO APPLY

Projects proposals (see the attached Bid Template) should be sent to: HRDP.Bids@fco.gov.uk by mid-day (Baghdad time) on 15 August 2016.

Bidders will be informed whether or not their proposals have been approved by 17 Aug 2016. All bids must be in English and should be completed in their original format (e.g. ODTor Excel); no PDF forms will be accepted. We will not provide feedback to bids that are not related to the stated impact focus. Organisations in Iraq must provide a copy of their certificate of registration.

PROJECT PERIOD:

The financial period of the BPB is 01 August 2016 - 31 March 2016. All projects must be completed within this timeframe. Funding of projects in the next financial year is not guaranteed.
