Festive period and New Year deadlines

Parties who are required by their existing appeal/other casework timetable to submit documentation during the Christmas and New Year period, (w/c 22nd and 29th December 2025) should make every effort to comply with stated deadlines. If information is due to be submitted on a Bank Holiday, then please ensure it is submitted prior to that date.

Enforcement appeals only: Please note, we don’t have the powers to extend the time for making an enforcement appeal, so any new submissions should be made before the effective date on the enforcement notice. Any appeals received after the effective date will be turned away. We will extend all facts, grounds and fee requests to take into account the Christmas holiday period. This only applies to appeals in England.

Our phone lines are open: 24th, 29th, 30th and 31st December. The customer service line will be open 10:00 - 14:00 and the media enquiries line will be open 09:00 - 14:00. We are closed 25th, 26th December and 1st January.
