Service availability during the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment (SBEE) Act implementation

On 30 June 2016, we’re implementing the next set of SBEE measures, and need to make some changes to our systems.

Some improvements need to be made to our services in preparation of the SBEE Act measures. This may affect the availability of some of our services.

Digital filing services

Our digital filing services remain available on 30 June, but there may be some processing delays as we implement the legislative changes. We’ll try to return to normal service as soon as possible.

All of our information services will remain available during the implementation.

Companies House Service (CHS)

download bulk files of company data in CSV format
download bulk files of accounts data in iXBRL and HTML formats

Same day services

Same day processing will be suspended at 10am on 29 June for:

  • incorporations (both electronic and paper)
  • changes of name
  • re-registration
  • capital reduction
  • certified copies

All applications will need to be received by 10am on 29 June to be processed on the day.

There will be no same day services available on 30 June but these will resume on Friday 1 July.

Changes to our fees and forms

On 30 June we’re also replacing some of our existing forms and changing some of our fees.

Check you’re submitting the correct form and the correct fee to avoid rejection.

This will affect:

  • incorporations
  • registration of mortgage charges
  • share capital forms
  • societas europaea forms
  • re-registration

Annual returns are also being replaced by the confirmation statement.
