To run a nursing agency in Wales you must register it, meet certain standards and operate according to the current regulations.
The minimum standards and the regulations make sure the agency is managed properly and provides quality care.
For information on the other legal conditions you must meet, such as quality of service and premises and record-keeping, see ‘Regulations for nurses’ agencies’ on the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) website.
You must also read The Nurses Agencies (Wales) Regulations 2003.
If you want to operate or manage more than one agency you must make a separate application for each one.
