The Environment Agency recently reviewed many of their charges. They consulted with customers between 29 November 2017 and 26 January 2018 on their proposed new charges.

As a result of the review, this guidance was withdrawn. Details of the new charges are available from Environment Agency Fees and Charges.

Details

The environmental permitting radioactive substances regulation charges document refers to the RSR Opra scheme. The scheme provides a simple profile for sites based on factors relating to their complexity, the radioactive discharges and disposals they make, and the resources we need to deploy to regulate them.
