Service personnel statistics are no longer published in this report. These statistics can be found in UK armed forces biannual diversity statistics.

From April 2026, this Official Statistic will be re-named from ‘MOD Diversity Dashboard’ to ‘MOD Civil Servant Diversity Statistics’. This aligns with a change to the April 2026 publication to expand the coverage to all MOD civil servants.

Previous publications will remain available under the former title and will continue to be accessible via this index page. The index title will be shortly updated to MOD Civil Servant Diversity Statistics.

References to ‘MOD civilians’ and ‘civilian personnel’ have been replaced with ‘civil servants’ in the title of this page, and from the April 2025 edition of this publication, to align with updated terminology. The terminology in editions before April 2025 will stay the same.
