The quickest way to get help is to chat with HMRC online. You can ask our digital assistant for help with:
- registering for Self Assessment
- ending Self Assessment
- filing your tax return and paying your bill
- appealing a penalty
- requesting a refund
- activation codes
If our digital assistant cannot help, you can ask to speak to an HMRC adviser if one is available.
