We maintain and develop relations between the UK and Uzbekistan. The British Embassy in Tashkent provides services to British nationals living in and visiting Uzbekistan.
We work to boost trade and investment between Britain and Uzbekistan, develop strong political, economic, cultural and defence ties, give effective consular protection to British nationals and, in partnership with the Uzbekistan government, work on shared goals in international development.
If you’re in Uzbekistan and you need urgent help (for example, you’ve been attacked, arrested or someone has died), call +99 871 120 1500. If you’re in the UK and worried about a British national in Uzbekistan, call 020 7008 1500.
