Details

The DESNZ Public Attitudes Tracker is a triannual survey of people in the UK aged 16 and over that measures public awareness, attitudes, and behaviours relating to the policy areas of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

This release contains the findings from the summer 2026 wave of the Tracker, which ran from 7 July to 12 August 2026. This is the 17th wave of the Tracker since its new time series was started in autumn 2021. Between autumn 2021 and summer 2023, surveys were conducted every quarter. Since winter 2023, the survey has been conducted three times per year (spring, summer, and winter).
