‘Martyn’s Law’ will reduce the risk to the public from terrorist attacks at public venues.

These factsheets have been superseded by factsheets published after enactment of the bill.

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill received Royal Assent on 3 April 2025 and will now be known as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025.
