The report, ‘Process evaluation of the Catalyst programme’, was commissioned in September 2017 to evaluate the effectiveness of the processes used in programmes and assess how and which Catalysts support or inhibit future impact.
Key findings of the report include:
effective promotion and marketing, in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), led to strong demand for the Catalysts programmes
each Catalyst was perceived to have a balanced portfolio of projects, including potentially transformative and ‘game changing’ technologies
the creation of good practices relevant to future Catalyst-type interventions
