Schools, local authorities and others involved in assessment at key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2) are invited to participate in live, interactive webinars on Tuesday 15 November 2016.

They offer an opportunity to ask questions about the 2017 national curriculum tests and assessments to our panel of experts.

  • KS1 assessments webinar: starts at 12.30pm
  • KS2 assessments webinar: starts at 3.45pm

Register on the STA media and training site to watch the webinars live. You can register to take part in one, or both, webinars and submit any questions beforehand.

Once registered, you will be able to access and participate live from your own computer. Each webinar will last no longer 45 minutes and a recorded version will be available afterwards, without the need to register.

The KS1 webinar will cover:

  • the tests in 2017
  • scaled scores
  • interim teacher assessment frameworks for 2017

The KS2 webinar will cover:

  • the tests in 2017
  • scaled scores
  • interim teacher assessment frameworks for 2017
  • accountability, including progress measures and floor standards

As in previous webinars, Will Emms, STA’s senior communications and test administration manager, will lead an expert panel who will be available to answer questions on topics including the test development process, external moderation, maladministration, assessment policy and school accountability.
