2022 national curriculum assessments: lessons learnt
The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) and its supplier, Capita, outline the lessons learnt from issues that arose in the 2022 assessments.

Since summer 2022, STA and Capita have been conducting work to:
- identify lessons learnt from the issues which arose in the 2022 assessments test cycle for schools, trusts and local authorities
- implement changes to ensure that there are as few such issues in future assessment cycles as possible
This report provides an overview of the lessons learnt process, the key findings and the work STA and Capita have undertaken to address the issues identified.
