The British Embassy in Azerbaijan maintains and develops relations between the UK and Azerbaijan.

Find out more on our UK and Azerbaijan news page.

Our work covers a range of issues including democracy, an open market-based economy and effective governance structures. We liaise with the Azerbaijani government and Institutions on behalf of UK institutions and government departments, and support the UK’s international priorities.

We provide services to British nationals living in and visiting Azerbaijan. You can access UK government services while in Azerbaijan.

The British Embassy is open. However, as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and subsequent quarantine measures it is possible to see customers by appointment only. We are available 24/7 and if you are need of urgent assistance, please contact us using the web contact form or by telephone +994 12 4377878. When calling, please stay on the line and select the option for ‘calling about an emergency involving a British national’ to speak to an officer. You can follow our travel advice and the Embassy Facebook page for latest updates.
