Self Assessment: payments

Beta This part of GOV.UK is being rebuilt – find out what this means

Online forms

To make a single CHAPS payment to cover a number of Self Assessment references (called a ‘multiple’ or ‘composite’ payment) please contact your HMRC Accounts Office. Your Self Assessment tax bill tells you which office your account is linked to.

If HMRC needs to contact you about anything confidential they’ll reply by phone or post.

If you can’t make a payment to HMRC using any other method you can send a cheque with your payslip to HMRC.
If you don’t have a payslip you can print one off.
You don’t need to include a street name, city name or PO box when writing to this address.
