Travel under national lockdown restrictions

Under current UK COVID-19 restrictions, you must stay at home. You must not travel, including abroad, unless you have a legally permitted reason to do so.

Check the rules that apply to you in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Walking, cycling, driving and travelling by public transport

You can help control coronavirus and travel safely by walking and cycling, if you can. Where this is not possible, use public transport or drive.

Under current UK COVID-19 restrictions, you must stay at home and it is illegal to travel abroad for holidays or leisure purposes.

Do not travel abroad unless you have a legally permitted reason to do so. In England you must complete a declaration form for international travel.

Check the rules about international travel that apply in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
