Get copies of patent, trade mark or design documents
Request design documents
Use form DF23 to request a certified copy of a design registration or application.
You should use one form for each certified copy you’re requesting.
Certified copies cost £30 each.
Fill in the form and post it. The address is on the form.
Uncertified copies
Send an email to Intellectual Property Office (IPO) sales including:
- the design number
- your telephone number
- the address you want the photocopy sent to
IPO sales
sales@ipo.gov.uk
There’s no fee for uncertified copies.
Replacement certificates
Call the IPO to ask for a replacement design registration certificate.
