The British Embassy in Slovakia maintains and develops relations between the UK and Slovakia.

The Embassy is currently closed to visitors due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Slovakia. We’re continuing to provide consular assistance 24/7, but please note that visitor access to the Consular Section is by appointment only. If you need consular assistance, please call +421 2 59 98 2000.

When calling, you may therefore hear a message stating that our offices are closed. However, we are available 24/7. If in need of urgent assistance, please stay on the line and select the option for ‘calling about an emergency involving a British national’ to speak to an officer.

Our work covers a range of issues including EU policies, trade relations, the single market, energy security and climate change.

Find out more on our UK and Slovakia news page.

We provide services to British nationals living and visiting Slovakia. You can access UK government services while in Slovakia.
