Gavin Vessey
Biography
Gavin became Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Podgorica in May 2016. Previously he was Political Secretary in the British Embassy Seoul (2011-15) covering inter-Korean relations and North Korean issues. In London, Gavin has worked in the FCO’s Near East Department on Middle East Peace Process policy, and also in the Corporate Services Reform Programme.
Prior to joining the FCO, Gavin worked for five years in International Banking for Lloyds Banking Group including roles in the UAE, Spain and Paraguay. Outside of work, Gavin enjoys travelling with his family, sport and photography.
