Before you start
Some fruit and vegetables need to meet European standards to be imported into the UK or other EU countries.
You can apply for a ‘Certificate of Conformity’ using the PEACH system If you’re planning to import fruit and vegetables.
Northern Ireland and Scotland
You’ll have to contact the Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inspections Directorate or the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) if you’re importing or exporting directly to or from Scotland or Northern Ireland.
