What a registration certificate does
To prove you are a registered charity, for example when opening a bank account or applying for a grant, you could print off (or email the web address for) your charity’s details on the register of charities.
Some funders, particularly overseas partners, ask for a registration certificate. It is a quick way to prove that you are a registered charity.
How to get a registration certificate
To log in and get a registration certificate you will need your:
- charity registration number
- charity’s online services password
You can print a copy of your certificate, or request a copy be sent to your charity’s contact email address.
You will receive two certificates, one in English and one in Welsh.
