Log in to the Charity Commission's online services, get a new password for your charity, and other services for charities.
Log in to the Charity Commission online service
To log in to manage your charity you need your:
- charity registration number
- charity’s password
Before you use the service, check what you need if you want to:
- use the service for the first time since November 2018
- start your charity’s annual return
- report a change to your charity’s details, like who your trustees are or contact information
Get a new password
Your charity contact can get a new password online. When you’ve added your charity number and clicked ‘OK’, an email with a new password will be sent to the charity contact’s email address.
If your charity does not have access to the charity contact’s email address you first need to update your contact’s details.
First call our contact centre - you must be either the charity contact or a charity trustee. You’ll need to answer some security questions and give new details for the charity contact, including an email address. It takes 24 hours to update our records.

The next day, when your contact information has been updated, you can get a password online. When you’ve added your charity number and clicked ‘OK’, an email with a new password will be sent to the charity contact’s email address.
