This notice should be read with the Merchant Shipping (Working time: inland waterways) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 2017/1149), MSN 1837 (M) Amendment 3 categorisation of waters and replaces MSN 1876 (M).

Amendment 1 updates reference information only.

Notice to all

• Shipowners
• Companies
• Managers
• Masters
• and all crew on vessels ordinarily operating in inland waterways.

The regulations do not apply to pleasure vessels.
