MGN 586 (F) Amendment 2 ILO work in fishing convention, 2007 - medical care

If a fisherman requires medical care while working on a fishing vessel they must receive this free of charge and costs rest with the fishing vessel owner.

This notice should be read with the The Merchant Shipping (Work in Fishing Convention) Regulations 2018 and replaces MGN 586 (F) amendment 1.

Amendment 2 updates references and NHS details at section 3.

Section 5 reference information is under review.
