Details

As the result of the Transformation Government Security Programme, this policy document sets out the roles and responsibilities of departments and their organisations. This forms part of the UK government’s internal control and governance arrangements.

The purpose of this policy is to establish the appropriate protective security roles and responsibilities in departments. This will ensure an effective, risk-based approach to security is being taken across the whole business.
