The Prime Minister's Special Representative for Afghanistan convened a meeting in London of special envoys from USA and Europe to discuss peace in Afghanistan.

Gareth Bayley brought together special envoys of the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, France, Italy, Norway and the European Union on 23 April 2019. They discussed the Afghan people’s desire for a lasting peace, and reaffirmed that a comprehensive political settlement is the only solution. This document summarises their meeting.
