Confirmation statement (CS01)

Use this form to confirm that the company details are up to date.



Only a company with a confirmation date (made up date) on or after 30 June 2016 can file this form.

Restoring a company

If you’re restoring a company to the register, you must put the statement date that was due before it was struck off. If you’re not sure of the correct date, contact us before completing your form.

Confirmation statement (CS01)

This form confirms that your company details are up to date on the public register. There’s a cost of £40 to file the paper form.

To take advantage of a reduced fee of £13, in-built checks and pre-populated data, file your confirmation statement online.

Changes to your company information

Use the CS01 (Part 1 to Part 4) if you need to make any changes to your company information.

Use Parts 1 to 4 to make changes to the company’s:

  • principal business activities or standard industrial classification (SIC)
  • statement of capital
  • trading status of shares and exemption from keeping a register of people with significant control (PSC)
  • shareholder information

Forms must be printed at full size on white A4 sized paper.

Use the condensed list of SIC codes if you need to update your nature of business activity on your confirmation statement.
