This form confirms that your company’s details are up to date on the Companies House register. It costs £62 to file your confirmation statement on paper.
It’s quicker and easier to file your confirmation statement online.
Changes to your company information
Use parts 1 to 4 to make changes to the company’s:
- principal business activities or standard industrial classification (SIC)
- statement of capital
- trading status of shares and exemption from providing people with significant control (PSC) information
- shareholder information
Registered email address
You must use part 5 to provide a registered email address if you have not already provided one.
There’s a different process if you need to change your company’s registered email address.
Identity verification
You must give the identity verification details for all your current directors, unless you have already provided this information. See Verifying your identity for Companies House.
Standard industrial classification (SIC) codes
Use the condensed list of SIC codes if you need to update your nature of business activity on your confirmation statement.
Restoring a company
If you’re restoring a company to the register, you must put the confirmation date that was due before it was struck off.
If you’re not sure of the correct date, contact Companies House before completing your form.

The continuation pages are optional. Only use them if you need to provide more details.
Forms must be printed at full size on white A4 sized paper.
