You can now apply online. The online form will ask questions that are relevant to you based on the information you enter. You can edit and download the application before it is submitted.

Use ‘Form ROA’ to apply for a certificate of entitlement showing you have the right to live and work in the UK, or ‘right of abode’.

Use ‘Guide ROA’ to find out what right of abode in the UK is and who has the right of abode. The guide also explains how to apply for a certificate of entitlement.

Get help using a computer to apply online
