Data to monitor the installation of energy efficiency measures in domestic properties via the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS).
Proposed change to GBIS statistics release schedule – user feedback requested
We propose moving GBIS measures statistics from a monthly publication to a reduced frequency following the closure of the scheme at the end of March 2026. Because the GBIS statistical release reports GBIS measure installations two months in arrears, figures up to the end of the scheme will be published in the May 2026 publication.
We welcome feedback from users on this proposed change, including any concerns or specific data requirements we should consider.

Monthly release of data on the Great British Insulation Scheme. The tables provide analysis on the measures installed and households receiving measures. The statistics provide analysis by measure type and geography. Within each publication, a commentary explaining the key trends is provided. This scheme covers Great Britain.
The statistics cover the scheme from the launch at the end of March 2023. The data included are two months in arrears.
These statistics are provisional and are subject to future revisions.
