The Forestry Commission’s key performance indicators (KPIs) show the organisation’s contribution towards forestry and woodlands in England, and show barometers of trends in the wider forestry sector in England. The indicators reflect Forest Services’ priorities to protect, improve and expand England’s woodlands. They display some of the contributions Forestry England makes to people, nature and the economy through their management of the nation’s forests. They show part of how the Forestry Commission is contributing to delivery of the government’s 25 Year Environment Plan.
You can also find reports of the headline key performance indicators in the respective Forestry Commission and Forestry England Annual Report and Accounts for each year.
In the past this statistical series of KPIs was referred to as the Forestry Commission Corporate Plan Performance Indicators. The statistical reports are Official Statistics.
