Questionnaire for businesses who move goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Find out how you can help HMRC, and keep up to date with the changes due to the implementation of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

At the end of the transition period when the Northern Ireland Protocol comes into force there will be changes to the way goods move between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Your business may be impacted by these changes if you can answer yes to any of the questions below.

  1. Do you move goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland?
  2. Do you move goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland on behalf of someone?
  3. Are you based in Northern Ireland and currently receive goods from Great Britain?
  4. Do you send parcels between Great Britain and Northern Ireland using Royal Mail or an express operator?

Find out more about the UK’s approach to the Northern Ireland Protocol in the command paper.

To keep up to date with changes, fill in the Northern Ireland Protocol questionnaire on screen, save it, then email to: hmrctraders@hmrc.gov.uk.
