Details

In strategic Outcome 6 the UK government commits to ensure women participate and lead in developing strategies to prevent and counter violent extremism. We also commit to mainstreaming gender across preventing and countering violent extremism programming, in line with our wider goals on gender equality.

This is one of a series of guidance notes on the strategic outcomes of the UK national action plan on women, peace and security (2018 to 2022) to support implementing policy and programme interventions in each area.
