This publication is the government’s response to a review of the EU Satellite and Cable Directive.

The consultation looked to gather information to assess whether the current rules relating to satellite broadcasting and cable retransmission are still fit for purpose. It also sought views on extending the scope of the directive to cover online TV and radio transmission.
